88,000-SF Marketplace Sells for $16M

PLYMOUTH, MN-The grocery-anchored shopping center was bought by a partnership managed by Tristar. The center is about 82% occupied with a Lunds grocery store, Ruby Tuesday, Chipolte, Noodles & Co., Old Chicago and Buffalo Wild Wings.

PLYMOUTH, MN-North American Properties recently sold Plymouth Marketplace, an 88,000-sf grocery-anchored center at Highway 55 and Vicksburg Lane. Pymouth Marketplace LLC, which is managed by the partners that own Tristar, bought the property at 3505 Vicksburg Lane North for a little over $16 million, according to Tom Commerford, vice president of Cambridge Commercial Realty.

The deal, which was to close at the end of last year, was delayed when Snyders Drug Stores filed for protection from creditors under Chapter 11 of the federal bankruptcy code, according to Commerford, who represented North American Properties in the transaction.

Plymouth Marketplace includes a Lunds grocery store, Ruby Tuesday, Chipolte, Noodles & Co., Old Chicago and Buffalo Wild Wings. The plaza opened three years ago and is about 82% occupied, according to Suntide Commercial Realty Inc., the leasing agent for the property.
