PBS' Laura Pomerantz and Bette Ende were tapped for the detail. "Designer brands have become more strategic than ever in planning their retail expansion plans, and are looking to their real estate partners for help in developing customized strategies that will enable them meet their corporate objectives," says Pomerantz.
The boutique PBS was also appointed the exclusive leasing agent for the Adler Group's 550 7th Ave. property—-current home to Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan International and Oscar de la Renta. PBS will begin marketing the entire 11th, 19th and 20th floors.
In late July, Sephora is adding a 12,482-sf location at the Scribner Building, 597 Fifth Ave. Newmark New Spectrum's Amira Yunis, with Michael Ippolito and Barry Goodman of Newmark, represented the owner, Edizione Realty Corp., while HGCD's Virginia Pittarelli represented the tenant. Unique features of the property include 30-foot vaulted ceilings adorned with detailed moldings and gold chandeliers; a three-story, glass-windowed storefront, with gilded cast-iron framing; and a grand marble staircase. kennethpark is the architectural firm on the project. Yunis says this continues a trend of luxury retail expanding south on Fifth Avenue.
