Palm Beach Tan Pens 96,491-SF HQ Lease

FARMERS BRANCH, TX-With expansion seeding the move, Palm Beach Tan Inc. has finalized a 96,491-sf, class A lease for a new headquarters location to bring an end to 10 months of talks and light a long-empty office/warehouse in Valwood Industrial Park.

Palm Beach Tan, known to most as the official tan of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, will move to 13800 Senlac Dr. from 2387 Midway Rd. in Carrollton, where it’s been leasing 7,700 sf of headquarters space with spillover at a nearby small office and warehouse space in yet a third location. Competition was stiff to win the deal, with the short list pared to four and talks best described as “very aggressive,” says John Lancaster with TIG Real Estate Services in Dallas.

Lancaster tells GlobeSt.com that Palm Beach Tan’s execs signed a 90-month lease for a two-story office building on the market since December 2002 for $6.50 per sf net. The finish-out plan is still being defined, but the goal is to complete the move by September.
