The 40 leases, which run from A -- abercrombie -- to Z -- Zales Jewelers, are in addition to five anchors previously announced by Taubman: Dillard's (186,000 sf), Belk (180,000 sf), Hecht's (165,000 sf), Dick's Sporting Goods (76,000 sf) and a 14-screen AMC Theatres megaplex (60,000 sf).
The 1.1-million-sf shopping center will feature up to 150 stores and restaurants. The first 40 retailers feature a mix of national and regional stores, offering a wide variety of goods and services.
The mall is located at I-77 and the I-485 connector in Charlotte's northern suburbs. It will be the Bloomfield Hills, MI-based REIT's 32nd mall property when complete.
