Naree DISPATCH: Journalist Recognition for GlobeSt.com, Real Estate Forum

HOUSTON-Two Real Estate Media publications walk away with honors at the 75th convention of the National Association of Real Estate Editors. It is this website's third trip to the podium, the second for Forum.

HOUSTON-Journalists lined up here yesterday to hear the results of the annual journalism competition sponsored by the now-75-year-old National Association of Real Estate Editors. This website received recognized in the Best Website category while sister print publication Real Estate Forum received honors in the Best Real Estate Business Magazine category.

Top awards in those categories went to RealEstateJournal.com and REITStreet, respectively. Both Forum–edited by Cynthia J. Hoffman–and GlobeSt.com are publications of Real Estate Media.

Other recipients of Naree honors at yesterday’s luncheon included Dan Tracy of the Orlando Sentinel for Best Overall Entry by an Individual (R. Michelle Breyer of the Austin American Statesmen won Second Place); Daniela Deane of the Washington Post for Best Newspaper Report–More than 200,000 Circulation (John Handley of the Chicago Tribune copped Second-Place kudos); and Carl Larsen of the San Diego Union-Tribune for Best Real Estate or Home Section– More than 200,000 Circulation (Second Place went to Maryann Haggerty of the Washington Post).
