Hubert Construction LLC is onboard as the project builder under a $9.3 million contract. The entire endeavor is expected to cost $14 million to realize.

GW's Transportation Research Institute is home to the US Department of Transportation's' National Crash Analysis Center. The government and university entities teamed up in September for a ceremonial groundbreaking event to announce that the funds had been attained for the new facility, and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the NCAC, GWU Virginia Campus director of marketing and communications Joan Ziemba tells GlobeSt.com. Now rock has been blasted and construction is officially under way for the development of the GWU/NCAC project, which has a scheduled completion date of April 2005.
