Cathartes Develops 61-Unit Residential Project in Former Factory

BROCKTON, MA-Cathartes Private Investments, in a joint venture with Juliano Enterprises, is developing Etonic Lofts Downtown at 147 Centre St. The 61-unit project is located in the heart of the city's transit village.

BROCKTON, MA-Cathartes Private Investments, a Boston-based private real estate investment and development company, and Juliano Enterprises, a locally based developer, is developing Etonic Lofts Downtown at 147 Centre St.

The development is located in a renovated Etonic shoe factory and consists of 61 loft- style residential condominiums ranging in size from 885 to 1,126 sf. The property also includes six ground-floor commercial spaces ranging in size from 100 to 200 sf. Units are expected to begin at $199,000. Construction is expected to be completed in February, 2005.

The 61-unit project, adjacent to the MBTA commuter station and Brockton area transit station, is in the heart of the city’s transit village. The project received a $9.1-million construction loan from MassHousing under its Home Ownership Construction Loan Program.
