Maxey Invests $3M in Dealership Upgrade

DETROIT-A newly renovated auto dealer’s showroom will be unveiled in Detroit Wednesday. The 35,000-sf facility represents a $3-million reinvestment in the east side Bob Maxey Lincoln Mercury Gallery dealership at 16901 Mack Ave.

Maxey now features a new gallery showroom, expanded service area including a drive-through, car wash, customer parking and increased body shop capacity. The move is part of the Maxey family’s strategy for growth in Detroit’s urban market, the company says. Earlier this year, the Maxey family opened a Ford dealership on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit.

“For more than 32 years, we have been committed to Detroit,” says Bob Maxey Lincoln Mercury vice president Michael Maxey. “This latest reinvestment in our Mack Avenue dealership and the opening of Bob Maxey Ford on Jefferson Avenue represents a strengthened commitment to our customers and to the city’s revitalization efforts.”
