Developer Gregory Marcotte says that, when complete, Premier Courts will be the largest indoor basketball facility in New England. The 70,000-sf sports complex will feature six regulation-size basketball courts and other sports rentals. The steel-framed building will feature a mezzanine down the middle of the structure and a 4,000-sf concession area. The scheduled completion date is late fall 2004 with Nauset Construction Corp. of Newton Lower Falls, MA, serving as Marcotte's construction partner.
"The vision for Premier Courts began as I was driving 30 minutes to a kid's basketball practice at 6:30 a.m.," says Marcotte. "When complete, Premier Courts will more than double the available basketball court space in the area, creating a greater opportunity for children to participate in the sport."
