The site is receiving some upgrades as the owners are renovating the site as well as instituting a prebuilt program designed to entice prospective tenants. C&W EVP Stuart Romanoff, who is heading up the leasing team, says improvements include upgrading the lobby and restoring ornate architectural details. "It's getting attention from its ownership that will restore it to its rightful stature."

Romanoff points out that the owners want to "act now as the market begins to strengthen" so prospective tenants will view the site as an option in Lower Manhattan, while maintaining the tower's historical significance. "It's improving the infrastructure and reconnecting the building with its prominent history," he notes.
