Among the new tenants in the complex are Hagens Berman which took 7,600 sf; Lion Bioscience, which took 7,500 sf; Toyota, which took 2,600 sf; Lowrie, Lando & Anastasi, which took 6,900 sf; Shaw Group, which sublet 63,000 sf; cMarket, which sublet 8,400 sf; LifeHarbor, which sublet 12,700 sf; and, Bridgeport Networks, which sublet 4,600 sf.
New England Pension Consultants renewed and expanded its lease for 20,000 sf, while Harvard Risk Management expanded to 2,100 sf. Among the tenants that renewed are Mathsoft for 23,350 sf; Weber Shandwick for 23,350 sf; Lyme Properties for 7,000 sf; and Surgency for 9,500 sf.
The average asking rent for office space in the Cambridge area is about $29 per sf. Sublease deals tend to command a lower than average rate. National Office Partners is a partnership of the California Public Employees' Retirement System.
