Seller Fred Sullins, trustee, of Houston had the acreage on the market about a year. O'Reilly was the top bidder out of three placed for the land, Chris Caudill with NAI Houston tells GlobeSt.com. He and Joel Michael of NAI Houston represented the seller.

The tract abuts O'Reilly's 153,345-sf distribution center positioned on five acres at 8601 Tavenor Lane. The extra land will be dedicated to parking, according to Caudill.

Don Czarneski of Czarneski Real Estate in Houston represented O'Reilly in the purchase. The Springfield, MO-based O'Reilly has 11 distribution centers in the US to servide 1,142 stores.
