O'Reilly Auto Pays $1 Per SF for Land

HOUSTON-The Springfield, MO-based auto parts supplier gets 4.3 acres adjacent to its 153,345-sf distribution center at 8601 Tavenor Lane in the southwest sector. The land will be used for additional parking, the broker says.

HOUSTON-O’Reilly Auto Parts has picked up a 4.3-acre parcel near Hobby Airport on the city’s southwest side to expand distribution center parking. The tract sold for close to $1 per sf ask price.

Seller Fred Sullins, trustee, of Houston had the acreage on the market about a year. O’Reilly was the top bidder out of three placed for the land, Chris Caudill with NAI Houston tells GlobeSt.com. He and Joel Michael of NAI Houston represented the seller.
