DETROIT-Developers and others who rely on the services of registrar of deeds offices in metropolitan Detroit should find a new streamlined service on their next visit. Wayne County Registrar of Deeds Bernie Youngblood says his offices and the registrar of deeds in Macomb, Oakland and Washtenaw counties “have reached an historic agreement to work across county lines in order to offer the latest in technology to their regional customers they serve.”

“Changing times call for bold strategies,” Youngblood adds. “It is no longer the era of local banks and title companies serving one county. We now have regional banks and title companies doing business within the metropolitan area. Consequently, our services have to do the same if we are to keep up with the business arena.”
