Pollard Galipp of the Cypressbrook Co. tells GlobeSt.com that the firm will decide within four months whether to build on seven acres that it owns at the eastern edge of the Greenspoint submarket or put a move on a nearby building and retrofit it for office and laboratory use. In the meantime, Tejas Research is holding tight to an office in the 386,272-sf 363 North Belt building at 363 N. Sam Houston Parkway, owned by Dallas-based Granite Properties.
Galipp worked out the renewal for Tejas Research and is steering the search for building in the 16,000-sf category. Granite's Sandy Benak negotiated its terms for a building with rates ranging from $19 per sf to $21 per sf.
