Travelers Express, a money order and wire-transfer business based here, is in the process of changing its name to MoneyGram International. Travelers, which is a subsidiary of Phoenix-based Viad Corp., is being spun off into an independent public company through a tax-free stock dividend to existing Viad shareholders.

Indianapolis-based Duke Realty owns the 230,000 sf building. Todd Braufman and Rich Reynolds of Equis Corp. represented Travelers Express/MoneyGram in the deal, while Darryle Henry and Norma Jaeger both represented their employer, Duke Realty, in the deal.

In 1998, Travelers Express bought MoneyGram Payment Systems, which is the core of its consumer money-transfer business.
