Sitting down for a town hall meeting on the state of the Chicagoland commercial real estate market are CenterPoint Properties Trust co-chairman and chief executive officer John Gates, Sheldon Good & Co. chairman and chief executive officer Steven Good, Northern Realty Group president Bruce Kaplan, Grubb & Ellis executive vice president Michael O'Hanlon and LaSalle Bank senior vice president David Patchin. Real Estate Forum regional managing editor Dees Stribling moderates the discussion and questions from the audience.

Concurrent early morning sessions include tenant and owner views on the office market; a look at leasing, investment and development of industrial property; as well as a panel on capital markets. Later in the morning, concurrent sessions will cover office investment sales and the multifamily market.

Real Estate Media president and chief executive officer Jonathan A. Schein kicks off the event with opening remarks, and editor-in-chief Michael G. Desiato has a one-on-one sit-down with Beitler. The interview promises to offer insights into Beitler's deals as well as life experiences. Schein caps off the day by hosting "15 minutes with Bruce Mosler," president of US operations for Cushman & Wakefield.

Attendance is expected to be in the neighborhood of 400, conference series director Richard Kelley says, with senior and high-level executives making up the bulk of the audience. RealShare Chicago is produced by Real Estate Media, parent company of GlobeSt.com as well as Real Estate Forum and Real Estate Mid-America.
