RealShare Chicago On Way to Navy Pier

CHICAGO-Summer brings more tourists to Navy Pier, but business is the draw Thursday when RealShare Chicago drops anchor, bringing together a virtual “Who’s Who” in commercial real estate. Jones Lang LaSalle president and chief executive officer Peter Roberts delivers the keynote address, but it will be J. Paul Beitler who will be on the hot seat later that morning.

Sitting down for a town hall meeting on the state of the Chicagoland commercial real estate market are CenterPoint Properties Trust co-chairman and chief executive officer John Gates, Sheldon Good & Co. chairman and chief executive officer Steven Good, Northern Realty Group president Bruce Kaplan, Grubb & Ellis executive vice president Michael O’Hanlon and LaSalle Bank senior vice president David Patchin. Real Estate Forum regional managing editor Dees Stribling moderates the discussion and questions from the audience.

Concurrent early morning sessions include tenant and owner views on the office market; a look at leasing, investment and development of industrial property; as well as a panel on capital markets. Later in the morning, concurrent sessions will cover office investment sales and the multifamily market.
