Redeveloped Falls at Marina Bay Names PM

FORT LAUDERDALE-Taplin Development Corp. has named Claudia Marlin property manager of Falls at Marina Bay, a 37-acre, high-end, waterfront rental community here. The property recently underwent a $50-million redevelopment.Marlin, with more than 12 years of development experience, was a property manager for St. Andrews Place in Miramar, FL, and Brickell Key II in Miami. In those positions, she oversaw operations and staff. Falls at Marina Bay, located at 2600 Marina Bay Dr. East on the New River, consists of 16 new apartment buildings with 376 units; a 10,000-sf clubhouse; a 17-acre, 150-slip marina; and the rebuilt, 10,000-sf, indoor/outdoor Marina Bay restaurant.The property has studios; one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments; and two-story villas. Rents range from $775 to $2,025 per month. In addition, the property’s extended-stay leasing program offers fully furnished apartments for short-term executive stays.Taplin Development Corp. has developed 2.5 million sf in luxury apartment projects in Florida.
