Infinity Inks $20M Lease With Snyder

LOS ANGELES-Infinity Broadcasting Corp., a subsidiary of Viacom, has signed a 10-year, $20-million lease for 64,000 sf of office space and broadcasting facilities at JH Snyder Co.’s 5670 Wilshire Blvd. building.

New York City-based Infinity’s new office and broadcasting facility will house 325 employees and five of the company’s seven Los Angeles stations: KCBS-93.1 FM, KFWB-980 AM, KLSX-97.1 FM, KNX-1070 AM and KTWV-94.7 FM. Those five stations will consolidate and relocate from various locations in West Los Angeles, Culver City and the Hollywood area. Infinity’s other local stations, KROQ-106.7 FM and KRTH-101.1 FM, will remain at their current locations on Venice Boulevard and Melrose Avenue, respectively.

The lease places Infinity and its leading stations in the heart of the Los Angeles media district, and the building Infinity will occupy features a direct line of sight to Mount Wilson, notes Jerry Snyder, senior principal with JH Snyder Co. Infinity will occupy the second and third floors of the building, which features a rooftop helipad.
