GREENBELT, MD-Patriot East, an 84,000-sf office structure currently under development in the Patriot Business Park at Golden Triangle, has secured a pre-lease agreement from the University of Phoenix. Signing on for 18,550 sf, the school will occupy the entire first floor of the new class A facility that is scheduled to reach completion in January.

Patriot East developer Atlantic Realty Cos. relied on Scheer Partners Inc. for representation, while the tenant put itself in the hands of Trammell Crow. Terms of the lease agreement have not been disclosed, but space in the new building is being marketed at $24 per sf.
