"The building fit perfectly for them," Jeff Hulseweh, an associate with GVA Daum Commercial Real Estate Services in Phoenix, says. "The clear height, truck access and office space all worked for them."
Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber Co. signed with owner Micro Investments LLC of Phoenix for five years in the building. Built in the mid-1980s, the single-tenant warehouse sits at 4048 E. Superior Ave. in the Airport South submarket. Priced at 34 cents per sf, the deal represents a new location for the growing distributor, Hulseweh tells GlobeSt.com.
The building's owner is operating a snack distribution business in the building, but will be moving in the coming weeks so finish-out can begin for the Aug. 1 takeover, Hulseweh says. He and Rich Sica of Daum represented Micro Investments in the lease negotiation. Carl Johnson of Johnson Commercial Properties PC in Tempe negotiated on the tenant's behalf.
