Charles Corn, owner of One Source Printing in Houston, bought 5810 Dierker Dr. from a local investment group, MTHM Inc., which had the asset on the leasing market about five months, John Ferruzzo of NAI Houston tells GlobeSt.com. He says several offers were place to buy the asset although it was just up for lease. Corn won the nod with the highest offer for the 20-year-old building on 18,648 sf of land. NAI's Travis Land helped negotiate the transaction.
The buyer's broker, David Boyd of Boyd Commercial in Houston, says the deal evolved because Corn was "tired of paying rent." One Source Printing will relocate from nearby leased space at 2200 Central Parkway after completing renovations on the building, according to Boyd.
