AmericInn, based in Chanhassen, MN, is an upscale limited service lodging chain with properties nationwide. The chain likes to locate in small- to medium-sized communities, along highways and interstates, in resort destinations and in large cities.

When AmericInn decided to standardize on a single property management system, it looked for a system that would enhance operational efficiency and profit potential for each of its franchise locations. AmericInn likes Micros' systems ability to exchange real-time room reservations and sales data between its central reservation system and each of its properties.
