Dana-Farber Leases 39,000 SF of Office Space

BOSTON-The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is leasing 39,300 sf at 109 Brookline Ave. The institute, which focuses on research and clinical programs, is taking the space for 10 years. Peter Farnum, principal and John McHugh, vice president, of Trammell Crow Co. represented property owner, HRPT Properties Trust in the deal and facilitated the transaction for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The three-story office building and five-story office, telecom and laboratory building is located in the heart of the Longwood Medical Area, a concentration of academic and medical institutions. The building consists of nearly 300,000 sf of space and is adjacent to the Yawkey Commuter Rail Stop. The building’s anchor tenant is US Sprint.
