Blackhawk Town Center will be anchored by a 94,000-sf H-E-B grocery store. The project at the intersection of Texas 646 and Interstate 45 also will have a 14,820-sf Walgreens and 4,400-sf Bank of America location. The anchors signed ground leases, with the average carrying a 20-year term, Heather Nguyen with NewQuest tells GlobeSt.com about a project set to deliver in January 2005.

To date, three tenants signed five-year leases for the 15,809 sf of available inline space. Sagewood Eyecare Inc. took 1,960 sf while Subway and a nail spa each leased 1,520 sf. The center's quoted rent is $24 per sf.
