Citizens Bank Moving Forward With 2004 Expansion Plans

NOVI, MI-Citizens Bank has opened a second Oakland County hub facility at the Novi Centre at Haggerty Centre II, 28001 Cabot Dr. A stand-alone bank branch will be constructed on a contiguous property at 12 Mile Road and the M5 expressway.

NOVI, MI-Citizens Bank is well into its 2004 expansion calendar, this week opening a second major hub facility in Oakland County at the Novi Centre at Haggerty Centre II, 28001 Cabot Dr. in Novi. Last November, Citizens Bank announced that its Oakland County expansion would include the two new hub offices and the opening of 10 to 14 new branches.

The initiative will continue to significantly add to the company’s current Oakland County presence of 12 locations. “Our Novi Centre facility houses commercial banking, mortgage banking, wealth management, and commercial real estate lending, as well as a new temporary branch,” says Thomas C. Shafer, Citizens Bank’s regional president for Southeast Michigan.
