Latitude Developer Closes on Nearly $8M Land Purchase

MIAMI-EA Fish Associates, in association with Reilly Development Inc., is developing the three-building, luxury mixed-use condominium project on 3.2 acres on the Miami River. The Brickell family was the seller of the land.

MIAMI-Boston-based developer EA Fish Associates has closed on its $7.5-million purchase of 3.2 acres of land where it plans to develop Latitude on the River, a luxury mixed-use condominium project being developed in the city.The Brickell family, the original settlers of the Brickell area, sold the land at 615 S.W. 2nd Ave. on the edge of the Miami River, for about $2.3 million per acre.Latitude will consist of 452 condo units with class A retail and office space in three buildings. Also planned are a bistro and riverside café. The project is being developed by EA Fish Associates in association with Reilly Development Inc.The project’s studios, riverfront flats, tower units and penthouses, each with a private terrace, are priced from the $180,000s. Suffolk Construction is the project’s general contractor, while Arquitectonica is its architect. Cervera Real Estate is handling sales of the residences.Howard Vogel, a principal and partner in Berman Rennert Vogel Mandler PA, represented EA Fish Associates, and Robert Gallagher and Charles Johnson were the closing agents for the Brickell family.
