NEW YORK CITY-Holtzbrinck, the German-based publisher/parent company of St. Martin’s Press, increases its space in the Flatiron building by signing a deal for 157,500 sf. It previously occupied 84,000 sf in the 183,449 sf site, which was built in 1902. The publishing giant is expanding from 12 to 18 floors and holds the potential to expand even further.

Space is advertised at approximately $40 per sf. According to published reports, Holtzbrinck has a graduated 15-year lease that totals $70 million. Other tenants in the site include Hangar Design, KB Network News and Robert Mondavi.
