"We looked at several locations for our newest manufacturing facility, and chose Allegany County over several other equally competitive locations because the community offers an economically competitive environment, is strategically located and will provide a high-quality way of life for our employees," says AWC president and CEO Jake Gosa. "The new site is purposely located near our existing manufacturing network, affording AWC the ability to maximize synergies with its existing operations in Virginia and West Virginia, and to more easily supply the growing Northeast and Midwest new construction and remodeling markets." The facility is expected to be partially operational in early 2005.
