Power3 Medical Products Inc. inked a five-year lease for 3200 Research Forest Dr. It relocated from the HARK research facility, also in the Woodlands. The deal's only broker, Pollard Galipp of the locally based Cypressbrook Co., tells GlobeSt.com that the move is a large expansion for the company. He says the move came about because the HARK building was sold to Montgomery County College.
Galipp says Power3 conducted an extensive search of the Woodlands, but the Venture Tech II space, previously a lab for Sigma Genysis, was a perfect fit. The 100,000-sf, two-building Venture Tech campus is owned by Vista Equities Group Inc. of Houston, which quotes space at $13.50 per sf to $14.50 per sf. The new tenant specializes in developing technology for the detection, diagnosis and early treatment of diseases, including breast cancer.
