Adams Moves Up Ladder at Fidelity National Title Insurance

MIAMI-Fidelity National Title Insurance Co. has promoted commercial real estate title insurance specialist Lori Adams to assistant vice president/agency manager for the company’s South Florida Agency operations.Adams was responsible for bringing in almost $1 billion in commercial title insurance underwriting for the company last year, her first year working for the company. She also will work with the company’s National Accounts Division.Adams, who has about 16 years’ experience in the industry, mostly in Atlanta, will still be responsible for new business development, and she will be a liaison between the company and approximately 30 law firms with which the company does business in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas. Her experience has included executive positions with several title insurance companies. She coordinated underwriting for many projects, including the $200-million acquisition of the Equitable Bank building in San Francisco and the $110-million acquisition and refinancing of Broadway Mall in Hicksville, NY.Fidelity National Title Insurance Co. is owned and operated by publicly traded Fidelity National Financial, and provides commercial and residential title search and examination services for attorneys and corporate title agents.
