GMACCM Adds SVP in Europe

LONDON-GMAC Commercial Mortgage Europe has a new senior vice president of its structuring and distribution division. Robert Leach, most recently a director in Standard & Poor’s local office, will be responsible for all securitizations within the division.Leach has 10 years of experience in commercial real estate. He spent four years as a structured finance analyst in Standard & Poor’s New York office before moving to London in September 2002 to focus on European CMBS.GMACCM Europe offers banking services for real estate investors through its wholly owned Bank in Ireland. It is an investor in and financier of distressed real estate debt and commercial mortgage backed securities. GMACCM Europe’s SVP of finance and portfolio management says Leach will be a valuable asset as GMACCM expands its position in the European CMBS market.
