J&S Storage LLC of Phoenix purchased an 8,678-sf warehouse at 2001 E. Cedar St. in Tempe from the local seller, Future Center & Park Inc. The expanding sports merchandiser got a five-year-old building close to Loop 101. Marc Pierce of Lee & Associates in Phoenix represented the buy side and the Colliers International team of Paul Sieczkowski, Mike Powers and Rob Martensen handled talks for the seller.

In Mesa, Erchonia Medical spent $1.8 million for a 14,100-sf warehouse at 4751 E. Indigo St. The manufacturer of therapeutic medical lasers was by the extra room with a 2.5-acre site. "It was a two-lot deal, which totaled 107,740 sf, and was ideal for future expansion," Pierce tells GlobeSt.com about the Mesa Commerce Center acquisition from LGE Design Build of Phoenix.

A brand-new building and close freeway proximity sewed up the decision to buy, he says. The buy represents a new location for the growing Mesa-based company.
