Jonathan H. Gifford, vice president of NAI Hunneman Commercial, worked on this transaction. "Weymouth Design was looking to expand its Boston office, and the space at 332 Congress St. provided the company with the location and type of space that they were looking for," says Gifford.

The six-floor, 33,000-sf property is located in the city's Seaport District. The building, constructed in the early 1900s and renovated in 1985, is owned by the Boston Wharf Co. Lease rates for this deal were not available, but the average asking rent for office space in the area is about $28 per sf. The area has an overall availability rate of about 20%, according to Trammell Crow Co.'s most recent statistics.
