Meijer Stores To Add Flagstar Bank Branches

TROY, MI-Meijer Stores and Flagstar Bank reach an agreement to open four new bank centers inside Michigan Meijer supercenters, hailed as promoting the one-stop-shopping concept.

TROY, MI-Flagstar Bank and Meijer Stores have reached an agreement to open four Flagstar banking centers in Michigan Meijer supercenters. “We see this as a match-up of two outstanding organizations dedicated to providing value to customers and exceptional service,” says Mark Hammond, president and chief executive officer of Flagstar Bank.

Meijer officials hail the move as part of the chain’s continued push to make the chain a one-stop shopping experience for customers. “A bank branch inside our store offers Meijer guests a wonderful convenience to expand on our one-stop shopping experience,” says Lynn Richardson of Meijer Real Estate. “Flagstar offers a personal service level with their financial service representatives that exceeds a conventional teller interaction with a guest.”
