Harrick Development Draws Plans for Luxury Condo-Hotel

WEST PALM BEACH, FL-Harrick Development LLC plans to develop a luxury condominium-hotel called the Carlyle in the city. The proposed project, at the corner of Lakeview Avenue and Dixie Highway, would have 150 one- and two- bedroom suites on 20 stories. “Our research shows that there is a true need for this … type of residence,” David Gostfrand, a partner with the developer, says in a statement. “A buyer can enjoy their … apartment at the Carlyle and/or offer it to the managing hotel company, (which) can rent it out. The hotel apartment concept is one that is popular in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Miami and Washington, DC.”The units would range from 700 sf to more than 1,200 sf. The penthouse units would have views of the city, the Intracoastal and the ocean. Prices at the Carlyle are to start at $300,000, according to Gostfrand.Residences will be fully furnished and have high-end designer decor and luxury features. Amenities will include a rooftop pool, a fitness club, flat-screen televisions, valet parking, and concierge, maid and room services.
