ETI Holdings LLC, the purchasing entity representing Tempe-based Express Technology Inc., purchased the one-year-old spec building from Chamberlain Development LLC of Tempe. SunState Builders, the construction arm of Chamberlain, developed the building at 1410 W. Auto Dr. as one of a trio of industrial structures, totaling 86,449 sf in the business park.

"The building was in shell condition so they can design the office and layout just they way they like it," Andy Markham of Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial's industrial group, says. He tells GlobeSt.com that Express Technology will slowly phase out a 16,000-sf leased space at 410 S. Perry Lane in Tempe. Amenities in the new building include grade-level loading, 24-foot clear height and fiber-optic capabilities.

The company has distributed and sold refurbished computer parts and accessories nationally about eight years, according to Markham, who along with Mike Haenel and Marc Tuite, also with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial, represented the buyer. Jerry Marrell with Lee & Associates in Phoenix negotiated for the seller.
