Datalink HQ Changes Hands for $11M

CHANHASSEN, MN-The 103,800-sf DataLink Headquarters is sold to local investor Swervo Development Corp. by Safe Harbor Properties Exchange. The namesake tenant has eight years left on its lease.

CHANHASSEN, MN-The 103,800-sf DataLink headquarters at 8170 Upland Circle was recently sold for $11.5 million to local investor Swervo Development Corp. The Datalink property, developed in 2001, was sold by Hoyt/DTLK, LLC and serves as the corporate headquarters for DataLink Corp., a publicly held company that specializes in the architecture of information storage infrastructures.

The tenant has eight years remaining on the original the 11-year lease. Swervo considers the acquisition a passive investment, according to Safe Harbor Properties Exchange, LLC of Minneapolis, the firm that represented the seller. Mike Roess of Coldwell Banker Burnett represented the buyer.
