Luxury Condo Project Goes Up Near Metro

ARLINGTON, VA-Construction has gotten under way on the West Lee, a 128-unit condominium project being developed by Silverwood Homes. Named for its location at the corner of Westmoreland Street and Lee Highway, the luxury property will offer dwellers the convenience of being located near the East Falls Church Metro station. In addition to its upscale residences, the WestLee will feature 8,000 sf of ground-level retail space, a fitness center and a two-level above-grade parking facility. The six-story condominium building will cost about $40 million to complete.

“The WestLee will offer some of the most inviting floor plans of any condominium residences in the greater Washington area, along with the unsurpassed convenience of a five-minute walk to Metrorail,” Silverwood Homes president Mark Silverwood notes. “Residents also will be located just a stone’s throw from I-66 for rapid travel to the District or to points west, as well as the popular W&OD hiker-biker trail.” Silverwood expects to make the first units available in the spring of 2006.
