Paramount, a moving and storage company based in California, will open doors in August at 3009 Claymoore Rd. John Ferruzzo and Travis Land, both with NAI Houston, represented the landlord, Rolamar Ltd., while the tenant opted for director talks. Land tells GlobeSt.com that the rate came close to the asking price of 45 cents per sf, triple net.

At 2900 N. Loop West, the law firm of Lorance & Thompson renewed a 13,007-sf lease and added 7,508 sf at Brookhollow Central II. The longtime tenant was represented by Rob Banzhaf and Dan F. Boyles Jr., both with NAI Houston, while Les Johns of the Chicago-based Equity Office Properties handled its bargaining for the class A, 302,000-sf office building.

According to Banzhaf, the tenant needed to expand and was able to work out an aggressive, medium-term deal. The average asking price is $19 per sf for the 14-story building.
