The parcel is considered prime Downtown real estate and after years of fighting over who gets to control it, the state, the city and the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority which oversees the massive highway project, recently agreed to establish a private, non-profit organization to govern the funding and long-term use and management of the property.
Meredith Baumann of the Boston Redevelopment Authority tells GlobeSt.com the three parks that will be created on the Greenway are still in the design phase of development.
