A HallKeen affiliate has made an initial investment in the 62-unit Brigham House in Watertown, the 110-unit Prospect House in Revere, the 42-unit Corcoran House in Clinton and the 44-unit Cameron House in Lenox. HallKeen Baran also assumed the management of these facilities, which had been managed by Benchmark Senior Living.

Paul Ferreira, managing director of Baran notes that, "Combining ourstrengths gives us the economic stability and management expertise needed to provide our community's residents with the caring, respectful service they deserve."

HallKeen was formed in 1991 as a joint venture of Hall Propertiesand Keen Development Corp. The company manages over 4,200 units of housing and more than 2.3 million sf of commercial space in New England, Virginia, and North Carolina. Baran has developed and purchased residential property in the state, including assisted living communities, for the past eight years.
