Phoenix-based Banner Health Systems leased half of the building at 7300 W. Detroit St., owned by Johnson Groves Partnership of Phoenix. The tenant will complete the move-in this week, filling space previously occupied by semiconductor distributor Avnet, Dan Calihan, a first vice president in Phoenix for CB Richard Ellis Inc., tells GlobeSt.com.
"It was a location that allowed them to have office space, that is in close proximity to retail amenities for their office employees and also allowed them to distribute their medical products," Calihan says. He and CBRE's Joe Porter and Pat Feeney represented Banner Health Systems. Bruce Calfee with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial in Phoenix represented the owner.
