Hartman-Cox Architects is responsible for designing the 21st Century structure behind the historic beaux-arts façade. "We are thrilled to be able to make such a lasting contribution to the fabric of our city: one that preserves part of our irreplaceable past while also building for the future," says Kaempfer vice president Charles Kehler.

Located at the corner of 15th and I streets in the city's financial district, the reincarnated Bowen Building will also feature a two-level parking facility and ground-level retail space. Law firm Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP got the redevelopment project going when it staked a claim to 70,000 sf of the building back in March of last year. Taking up 32% of the space, Paul Hastings will make its home on the top three floors and part of the first floor of the 12-story tower.
