The stores closing in Massachusetts are at: Middlesex Commons in Burlington; Fresh Pond SC in Cambridge; Providence Highway in Dedham; The Hanover Mall in Hanover; The Northshore Mall in Peabody; and Redstone SC in Stoneham. The remaining 11 stores are located in New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.

"The stores are in freestanding, strip center and mall locations and range in size from 13,500 to 31,600 square feet," says Andy Graiser, co-CEO of DJM Asset Management, which is handling the store closings. "Since many of the stores are in prime locations, we expect a large number of preliminary bids by our due date of Thursday, September 2." Graiser notes that all bids are subject to bankruptcy court approval. The locations are expected to operate until September.
