The new addition to the Kennedy-Warren--which occupies a spot on Connecticut Ave. in the trendy Cleveland Park neighborhood near the National Zoo--is nine stories high and offers 114 additional rental apartments, bringing the total residential offerings to 431. The project cost $46 million to achieve.

Completion of the Kennedy-Warren under the watchful design eye of Hartman-Cox Architects included more than the development of new units. Clark Residential also constructed a basement-level fitness center, and a 96,200-sf underground parking facility offering three levels of space. With the end of the construction endeavor, a project cut short by Great Depression era economics has finally reached the finishing point.
