Roof Investors bought the former Pisani's market on Rantoul Street and plans to redevelop the property into a 46-unit condo building called Pleasant Court Apartments. Connie Kennedy, a representative of the town's planning department, tells GlobeSt.com that the project's site plan review was approved and it received the special permit it needs to begin construction. The project will include an 89-car underground garage.

Both projects are not far from the town's two major condo complexes, the 165-unit Gateway complex and the 106-unit Tuck Point. They are also close to the Beverly Depot, an MBTA station.
