Located in the sizzling Washington, DC submarket of Tysons Corner, Greensboro Corporate Center is a premier property featuring such amenities as a fitness center and daycare facility. Newcomers Watt Tieder and Mitre are in good company, boasting neighbors including IBM and Prudential. The two new leases leave Greensboro Corporate Center leased to maximum capacity. Terms of the firms' agreement with real estate services firm Jones Lang LaSalle--which represented property owner Greensboro Center LP--have not been made available; however, according to Advantis Real Estate Services Co.'s Mid-Year 2004 Office Market Report, class A office space in the Tysons Corner submarket goes for $24.50 per sf.

"The Mitre Corp. was looking for contiguous space in a class A building that was close to its headquarters based half a mile away," explains JLL's Herb Mansinne, who worked with colleague Mike Ellis on the transaction. "Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald, was looking to upgrade its corporate headquarters space and continue its strong presence in Tysons Corner, VA." The law firm relied on Staubach for representation, while Mitre turned to Spaulding & Slye Colliers.
