The development will replace the blighted hospital with 76 condominiums and 28 single-family homes on the 25-acre site. The Wayne County Commission has approved a $2.5-million tax credit for developing the brownfield site.

Phoenix Land's subdivision will have 28 detached two-story condominiums that range from 2,600 sf to 2,800 sf and in base price from $340,000 to $370,000. Also, 76 attached condos, from 1,850 sf to 1,950 sf, will be built with a base price of $230,000 to $250,000.
